Founded by Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka, Asics stepped on the scene in 1949. Known as a running shoe, overtime their sneakers evolved and became the iconic brand they are known for today. As a tribute towards Kiko Kostadinov and Asic's relationship, the two forces have come together again this year with new designs for the Gel-Kayano. Kiko Kostadinov is a long-time fashion designer that's worked alongside Asics to develop new silhouettes. This collection is just the beginning of their multi-year contract as they have more partnerships planned for the future. This Gel-Kayano’s color palette has a feminine touch with shades of pinks and purples to contrast the white. Mesh is added to the heel for breathability.
